Roles & Permissions: Removing Credit Card Permissions from the Billing Manager Role

When you invite a collaborator to your site, you assign them a role based on their responsibilities. One of the roles you can assign is Billing Manager. 
A Billing Manager can buy and manage Wix subscriptions, business emails and domains. So that they can do this, they may have been granted credit card permissions as part of their role. 
You can revoke credit card permissions from the Billing Manager role by following the steps below. 
Important:
  • Each credit card you add to your Wix account has independent permissions. If you update the permissions for one card, the other cards on your account are not affected. If you want to update a Billing Manager's permissions for all credit cards, you must do so for each card.
  • A collaborator's role and permissions only apply to the website you invite them to work on.

Removing credit card permissions

You can remove credit card permissions when your Billing Manager's access needs to change. Removing credit card permissions from a Billing Manager does not change their role. Learn how to update the role of a collaborator.

To remove credit card permissions from a Billing Manager:

  1. Go to Payment Methods in your Wix account.
  2. Click the Actions drop-down on the relevant card. 
  3. Click Manage permissions.
  4. Click Remove Permission next to the relevant Billing Manager.
