If you receive an Error 401 (Unauthorized) message, it means you're trying to access a page that you must first log in with a valid user ID and password to view.
To resolve a 401 error message:
- Check that the URL (web address) you are trying to access is correct, then re-enter it in your address bar and press Enter.
- If you're trying to access a page other than the homepage, go to the homepage URL (e.g., www.mystunningwebsite.com), then look for a login link, click it, and enter your credentials.
- If you're using incorrect credentials, follow the steps on the site to reset your password or contact the site owner to request access.
- Use another supported browser. If the error only occurs in one browser, clear your browser's cache.
