If the incorrect information still appears in search results after some time, you can send a request to Google to recrawl the page.

Manually requesting a recrawl

If you want changes that you make to title tags and meta descriptions to appear quicker, some search engines allow you to request that they recrawl a page.
For example, for Google search results you can use Google Search Console to manually request indexing for the page.

  • Requesting a recrawl does not guarantee that your page's search result will update quicker.
  • Make sure to publish your changes before you request a recrawl.
