Facebook & Instagram Ads: FAQs About the Campaign Budget and Subscription

Your ad credits include those from your monthly subscription as well as any rollover credit from previous months. If you pay in a supported currency (e.g. EUR, GBP, JPY, USD) the ad credits are in the same currency. For all other currencies, ad credits show as USD in the dashboard.

We recommend a monthly budget that is about 5% of your monthly business revenue. However, you can start as low as $150 USD a month.

Note: The amount you set for a daily budget impacts the rate in which the ad credits are used. If the total daily budget is too high, the campaign will not have enough ad credits for the full month, and so your ad credits may run out earlier than expected.

You can pay for your monthly subscription in the currency of your choice. This is applied to your ad credits spent on clicks. If you pay in a currency other than USD ($), your subscription is converted into USD to pay Facebook & Instagram for the ad credits. The exchange rate may vary from month to month.

You can pause a campaign at any time. As soon as you pause, the following changes happen:

Note: Any Facebook & Instagram ad credits that have an expiry date may expire while the campaign is paused.

You can continue running your ads with any existing ad credits, even if your subscription has expired. The campaign continues to run until the ad credits are spent, then it stops.

85% is sent directly to Meta to pay for ad credits that are used to run the campaign on their platform. The remaining 15% is the Wix fee for running your campaign, optimization, testing and more.
