Editor X: List of Elements that Transfer to Your Editor X Site

When rebuilding your site on Editor X, some features and elements aren't automatically transferred from Wix Editor.

Important:
- In order to move a site from Wix Editor, you must have at least one existing Editor X site in your account. To create a new site, log in to editorx.com using your Wix credentials.
- This feature is currently in Beta testing. This means we're working on improving the feature before making it available to all users.
Content that transfers to Editor X
Your Dashboard
Your site's dashboard stays exactly the same. All of your information, such as site settings, inbox correspondence and contacts, remains in your dashboard just as it was.
Wix Apps
The supported Wix apps (e.g., Stores, Blog) will move over to Editor X, including all relevant data. If you're using Wix Stores, for example, all of your products and collections will appear on your Editor X site.

Saved Media
Media files (e.g., images and videos) that you've saved in the Wix Editor Media Manager will appear in Editor X as well.
Content Collections
If you're using the CMS (Content Management System) to store your site's content, the information in your collections will remain intact. However, the elements that were previously connected to your collection aren't transferred, which means you need to re-add those elements and re-connect them to the collection.
Marketing Tools
Any Marketing Integrations you're using to track your visitors' behavior will continue to run on your live Wix site. They'll start running on your new Editor X site once you publish it.
CRM Tools
Any CRM tools you were using in Wix Editor are available on Editor X. This includes elements like chat and forms, as well as features managed from the dashboard like automations, invoices and tasks.
Site Domain
- If you have a domain connected to your site, it will lead to your new Editor X site as soon as you publish.
- If you were using a free Wix URL, the domain will change to the following format: accountname.editorx.io/sitename. Once you publish the new version of your site, visitors will be re-directed to the new URL.
Premium Plan
If you've purchased a Premium Plan for your Wix site, you must upgrade to an Editor X Premium Plan in order to publish the new site.

Content that doesn't transfer to Editor X
When migrating to Editor X, your pages move over from the old version but some elements might be missing.
The following apps aren’t yet supported on Editor X:
- Wix Hotels
- Wix Music
- Wix Portfolio
