Send out mobile announcements from the Wix app to Dine by Wix to keep your restaurant in the mind of your customers and let them know about any exciting news you have.
Note:
If your members have push notifications enabled on Dine by Wix, your announcements pop-up on their devices, and they can also view them in the
Announcements section of your restaurant site in the app.
To create a mobile announcement:
- Go to your site in the Wix app.
- Tap the Add icon
at the bottom. - Tap Share Mobile Announcement.
- Enter your announcement title and content and tap Next.
- Enable the toggle to send a notification to all of your members.
- Tap Publish.
Create your discounts before announcing them:
If you want to announce a discount, you must first
create the the discount in your site's dashboard on desktop and share it through the Wix app.
Making a Promotional Video
Get the word out about your restaurant with a promotional video that you can create in minutes with the Wix Video Maker. Choose from a range of templates, add your own content, pick a design and music to make a custom video that you can share on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
To make a promotional video:
- Go to your site in the Wix app.
- Tap the Add icon at the bottom.
- Tap Make a Video.
- Select a template or tap Create from scratch.
- Follow the steps to create, save and and share your video.
Managing your promotional videos:
Access your promotional videos at any time from the
Video Maker under
Branding & Marketing in the
Manage section of the Wix app.
