Connecting Your Instagram Feed to Your Instagram Personal Account

Connecting your personal account to your Instagram Feed allows you to share your personal photos and videos directly on your site, giving your visitors a more personal and behind-the-scenes look at your life.
Important:
- We have released a new version of the Instagram Feed app. This article refers to the old Instagram Feed app.

Connecting your Instagram personal account
Add the Instagram Feed app to your site from the Wix App Market and connect it to your personal account.
Have more than one Instagram account?
Make sure you log into the account you want to display on your site before connecting the account.

- Click Add Apps
on the left side of the editor. - Search for the Instagram Feed app in the search bar.
- Click Add to Site.
- Select the app on the page.
- Click Settings.
- Click Connect Personal Account.
7. Click Allow in the pop-up.
Note:
If the Instagram log-in pop-up doesn’t open, try turning off your pop-up blocker, or updating your browser version.

Connecting to a specific feed
If you have multiple feeds on your Instagram account, you need to choose a feed to display on your site. You cannot display multiple feeds using this version of the app. However, you can display multiple feeds using the new Instagram Feed app.
Note:
This will only work if you've previously connected your Instagram to your Wix site.
To connect a specific feed:
- Click the Instagram app in your Wix editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click Connect Personal Account.
- Click Allow on the popup.
- Publish your site.
- Go to your Instagram account.
- Log out of Instagram to refresh the connection.
- Log back into your Instagram account.
- Go back to your Wix editor.
- Click the Instagram Feed app.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Select feed drop-down and select the feed you want to display.
Note: This option is only available if you have multiple Instagram feeds linked to your account. - Click Continue on the popup.
- Publish your site.
Disconnecting your Instagram personal account
Disconnect your Instagram personal account to connect a different account.
To disconnect your account:
- Select the Instagram Feed app in your editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click Disconnect at the bottom of the panel.
Troubleshooting Instagram personal account issues
If you are experiencing issues connecting the Instagram Feed app for your Instagram personal account, try the steps below:
Step 1 | Make sure that you're signed in to the correct Instagram account
Step 2 | Reconnect your Instagram account if it was disconnected
Step 3 | Make sure that off-Facebook activity is enabled in your Facebook account
