Music Apps: Adding and Setting Up a SoundCloud Player

Want to showcase more music on your site from another platform? You can add a track, album or playlist from SoundCloud to your site.
Step 1 | Add your SoundCloud player
Adding your SoundCloud player is a great way to showcase your audio to your visitors. You can add it anywhere on your site.
To add a SoundCloud player:
- Click Add
on the left side of your Editor. - Click Video & Music.
- Scroll down to SoundCloud Player.
- Drag the player onto your site.
Step 2 | Add the SoundCloud URL or embed code
To share music from SoundCloud, you first need to retrieve the URL or embed code of the track, album or playlist, and then add it to the player on your site.
To add your SoundCloud URL or code:
- (In your SoundCloud account) Search for the music you want to add and copy its URL / embed code.
- (In your Editor) Click the SoundCloud player.
- Click Settings.
- Paste the URL or embed code.
- Click Confirm.
Step 3 | Customize your SoundCloud settings
Choose what your SoundCloud player shows to visitors. You can show them how many times the song has been played, and any comments left by SoundCloud users.
To adjust your SoundCloud settings:
- Click the SoundCloud player in your Editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Choose what you want your player to show:
- Show play count: Enable the toggle to allow visitors to see how many times the song has been played.
- Show comments: Enable the toggle to allow visitors to see comments about your music.
Step 4 | Customize the SoundCloud player's look
Choose the design that most suits your style to showcase SoundCloud on your site.
To customize the SoundCloud appearance:
- Click the SoundCloud player in your Editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Design tab.
- Choose what you want to customize:
- Choose a layout: Choose from the two style options of how your SoundCloud player appears on your site.
- Color: Chose a color for the play button of your SoundCloud player.
