CMS: Adding and Setting Up a Ratings Display Element

Add a Ratings Display element to show your product or service ratings collected from your users.
Before you begin:
Add the CMS (Content Management System) to your site. 

Step 1 | Add and Set Up Your Ratings Display Element

  1. Click Addon the left side of the Editor.
  2. Click Input.
  3. Click Ratings.
  4. Click and drag the Ratings Display element of your choice. 
  5. Click Settings
  6. Click the Show the rating value toggle to show or hide your ratings value.                                           
  7. Click the Show the number of ratings toggle to show or hide the number of ratings received. 
  8. Edit the Ratings text label
  9. Click the No Ratings tab to customize the way you element looks like when there are no ratings.
  10. Select one of the options below:
    • Nothing: No element is displayed. 
    • Icons: Icons are displayed. 
    • Placeholder text: Placeholder text is displayed. 
      • Edit your placeholder text. 

Step 2 | Connect Your Ratings Display Element

Connect your ratings display element to show the ratings collected from your users.
  1. Click the ratings display element. 
  2. Click the Connect to Data  icon.
  3. Click Connect a dataset to choose a dataset from the drop-down list.
  4. Click Rating value connects to to:
    • Choose an existing field in your collection. 
    • Click Add a new collection field to create a new field in your collection. 
      • Enter a field name. 
      • Select a field type. 
  5. Click Number of ratings connects to to:
    • Choose an existing field in your collection. 
    • Click Add a new collection field to create a new field in your collection. 
      • Enter a field name. 
      • Select a field type. 
Important:
Make sure you have a submit button on your page so visitors can submit their selection.
