Add a Video to Your Page Background

Spice up your site by adding a video to your page background! You can upload your own video, add a free Wix video, or purchase a professional Shutterstock video.

To add a video to your page background:

  1. Click Video.
  2. Choose what you want to do:
    • Upload your own video:
      1. Click Upload Media.
      2. Browse your computer and select your video.
      3. Click Change Background.
    • Add a free Wix video:
      1. Click Free from Wix.
      2. Select a video.
      3. Click Change Background.
    • Purchase a Shutterstock video:
      1. Click Shutterstock.
      2. Select a video.
      3. Click Buy Video.
Tip:
Preview your site to see your video background in action!
Notes:
  • Video backgrounds are not displayed on your mobile site.
  • Videos take a few moments to upload regardless of your internet connection speed. As your video is processed, the file is being transcoded, meaning converted and resized, to play in the highest quality on any screen. Processing time may increase for especially long or high quality video uploads. Your video won't appear on your site until the uploading process is complete.
