What are Dynamic Elements?

1 min
Dynamic elements display content that changes, while static elements show content that remains the same. A dynamic element is connected to content managed separately from your page, meaning it links to a collection.

For example, a dynamic page for recipes may feature the main image of the dish, along with text boxes for the recipe name, ingredients, and main text. These elements connect to a collection. In contrast, a static image of the chef and the name of the recipe site remain the same on every page.

You can connect various elements, from basic images to complex repeaters, to your collection content. This ensures your content is stored safely in a separate environment from your design.
