Changing Your Site's Language

1 min read
Your site's language affects all parts of your site, including the language people see on your site, and the emails and notifications they receive. It also affects the language of the apps on your site (e.g. Wix Stores, Wix Bookings, Wix Chat), and your visitors' browser language (i.e. if translation is enabled, your browser detects the language and offers to translate it).
Additionally, your site's language is important for assistive technologies, to help them interpret your site correctly and adjust the accent, pitch and speaking rate to suit the language.
You can change your site's language from the regional settings in your site's dashboard.
