Removing a Domain from Your Wix Account

If you no longer need a domain purchased outside of Wix in your account, you can remove it.
Important:
You cannot delete (remove) a domain purchased from Wix. Only domains that were purchased elsewhere can be removed from your account.
To remove a domain from your account:
- Go to the Domains page.
- Click the Show More icon
next to the relevant domain and select Remove from Wix.
- Click Remove Domain.
- If your domain is hosted elsewhere, contact your domain host and ask them to disconnect your domain from Wix's name servers or point it away from Wix's IP address.
