Elevate your visuals and customize your background to suit your creative goals effortlessly with Wixel's Replace Background tool. Generate an AI-powered background tailored to your ideas, or choose from solid colors, patterns, and images to create striking results.
Note:
AI credits are only used if you generate a background with AI. Selecting a solid color, pattern, or image does not use any credits.
Replacing an image's background
Replace the background of an image with a custom design of your choice. Whether you want to generate a new background using AI or pick from existing colors, patterns, or images, this tool makes it easy to enhance your images.
To replace an image's background:
Dashboard
Wixel app
- Go to your project in Wixel.
- Select the image you want to edit.
- Click Edit Image at the top.
- Click Replace Background.
- Choose how to replace the background:
- Generate a background: Write a description of how you'd like the AI to create your background.
- Choose a background: Select a color, pattern, or image as your background.
- Colors: Click the Add button
to pick a new color and adjust the opacity. - Patterns & Images: Choose a pattern or image from your uploaded media.
Tip: Enhance the image by enabling the Apply Shadow toggle. Then, click Adjust below the toggle to further customize the shadow.
