Wix Invoices: Requesting a Deposit

1 min
When you create a Wix Invoice, a deposit can be requested as a partial payment. The deposit is an instalment for the purchase, allowing the full balance to be paid at a later date. You can choose to offer a percentage of the total invoice amount, or a set amount.

Paid deposits are counted in your revenue, and the amount requested can be negotiated between you and your customer.
Notes:
  • You can edit an invoice deposit if a payment hasn't yet been made. After a payment has been made, the deposit amount can not be edited.
  • You can request an outstanding balance to be paid by resending an invoice.
