Send payment requests to clients while you're on the go, using the Wix app. This is a great way to collect online payments for booked sessions. You can send payment requests before or after the sessions take place.
When you send the payment request, your client receives an invoice with all the requirements of the session. You can send payment requests before or after the booked sessions take place.

Sending an invoice while scheduling an appointment

Email clients a payment request link as you schedule an appointment for them. This makes it more convenient for the client to pay online before or after their appointment.

To send an invoice while scheduling an appointment:

  1. Go to your site in the Wix app.
  2. Tap Manage  at the bottom.
  3. Tap Booking Calendar.
  4. Tap the Add icon .
  5. Tap Appointment.
  6. Select the appointment.
  7. Set the relevant details:
    • Client: Tap Change to update or select a different client.
    • Date: Choose when the appointment takes place.
    • Repeats: Set how often the appointment recurs and for how long (e.g. weekly for 3 weeks). Select Doesn’t repeat if it's a one-time appointment.
    • Location: Specify where the appointment takes place.
    • Service: Tap Change to update or select a new service.
    • Session start time and Duration: Set the session time and length.
    • Staff member: Assign a staff member.
      Note: A notification will appear if there are scheduling conflicts. You can continue scheduling or tap Show free time slots to choose a different time.
    • Price: Edit the price to a custom price or free pricing if needed.
    • Add note to self: Include booking notes for you or staff (e.g. "client might be 10 minutes late").
    • Notify client with an email: Tap the checkbox to send your client an email with the details.
  8. Tap Book.
    Note: For repeat appointments, tap Continue to review your sessions. Then tap Book to confirm.
  9. Select Charge with invoice.
  10. Choose an option:

Sending an invoice for an existing booking

You can send invoices for existing sessions in the Booking Calendar using the Wix app. For class and courses sessions, you can send invoices from the Manage Participants section. 

To send an invoice for an existing session:

  1. Go to your site in the Wix app.
  2. Tap Manage  at the bottom.
  3. Tap Booking Calendar.
  4. (Optional) Tap the month and year at the top to expand the calendar.
  5. (Optional) Select the relevant day.
  6. Tap the existing session and follow the relevant steps below:
    • Appointments: 
      1. Tap Collect Payment
      2. Tap Charge with invoice.

    • Classes or courses: 
      1. Tap Manage Participants
      2. Tap the More Actions icon next to the relevant participant. 
      3. Tap Collect Payment.
      4. Select Charge with invoice.

  7. Tap the More Actions icon at the top.
  8. Choose an option:
