Understanding Your Monthly Email Marketing Balance with Ascend

2 min read
Important:
This article only refers to users with existing Ascend by Wix plans.
Your Wix email marketing balance is determined by your Ascend plan. Each plan gives you a certain monthly allowance for:
  • Email campaigns: The number of campaigns you can publish or schedule per month.
  • Emails: The number of emails you can send to recipients per month.
There are several factors that affect your monthly balance, including publishing and scheduling campaigns. You can also check your balance at any time from your email marketing dashboard.

The factors that affect your monthly balance

There are a few actions that count towards your monthly email marketing balance:

Actions that affect your monthly balance:

  • Publishing a campaign: This counts as one of your monthly campaigns, even if you don't send the campaign to recipients.
  • Scheduling a campaign: This counts as one of your campaigns for the month it's scheduled for. (However, if you reschedule a campaign after scheduling it once, your balance is not affected).
  • Resending a campaign: Resending a campaign you've already published counts as one of your monthly campaigns.

Actions that do not affect your monthly balance:

  • Canceling a scheduled campaign prior to sending: If you decide not to publish a scheduled campaign and cancel it instead, it does not affect your balance.
  • Deleting a published campaign from your dashboard: Removing a campaign from your dashboard doesn't affect your balance.
  • Sending a test email: You can send yourself a test email to see how your campaign looks to subscribers. This does not affect your balance.
  • Emails sent via Wix Automations: You can send emails as part of Wix Automations that don't count towards your monthly email marketing balance.

Checking your monthly balance

Check how many campaigns you've published and emails you've sent this month from your email marketing dashboard.

To check your monthly balance:

  1. Go to Email Marketing in your site's dashboard.
  2. Under Monthly balance you can view your current balance and type of plan:
    • Ascend plan: Your current Ascend plan.
    • Campaigns published: How many campaigns you've published this month.
    • Emails sent: How many emails you've sent this month.
Note:
If you've used your limit for campaigns or emails for the month, you need to wait until the reset date or upgrade your Ascend plan.
