Studio Editor Request: Placing Elements Outside the Canvas

Currently, it is not possible to place elements in the gray area around the canvas and customize them before adding them to an actual page. This feature would help keep elements handy and allow for more efficient design adjustments.
Workaround:
You can create a hidden site page and use it for elements you're still working on.
