Studio Editor: Keyboard Shortcuts

While building your client’s site on the Studio Editor, you can use keyboard shortcuts to work quickly and efficiently.
Working on a Mac?
Use the Cmd key instead of the Ctrl key, and Option instead of Alt.
Basic actions
Shortcut | What it does |

Ctrl + Z | Undo |
Ctrl + Y (or Cmd + Shift + Z) | Redo |
Ctrl + Alt + P | Enter and exit Preview mode |
Ctrl + S | Save |
Ctrl + Shift + P | Publish |
Interaction with different elements

Ctrl + C | Copy |
Ctrl + V | Paste |
Ctrl + D | Duplicate |
Delete / Backspace | Delete an element |
Ctrl + Click | Select a child element |
Alt + C | Place selected elements in a container |
Alt + Shift + C | Remove the container around the elements |
Alt + S | Stack the selected elements |
Ctrl + ↑ | Bring an element to the front |
Ctrl + ↓ | Send an element to the back |
Ctrl + ↓ | Move an element backward |
Ctrl + ↑ | Move an element forward |
← ↑ → ↓ | Move an element by 1px (i.e. Nudge) in a specific direction |
Shift + ← Shift + → Shift + ↑ Shift + ↓ | Move an element by 10px in a specific direction |
Esc | Deselect an element |
Ctrl + Drag / Resize | Disable the auto-docking while resizing or moving an element |
Shift + Resize | Resize an element while maintaining its original proportions |
Alt + Resize | Resize an element from its center point |
Shift + Drag | Drag an element in a straight line, along a horizontal or vertical axis |
