You might run into different issues while trying to publish your post to your social networks. If you see an error message while trying to publish, or can't find and connect the relevant social account, try the steps below.
If you receive an error message or the account you're looking for isn't appearing at the connection stage, try the troubleshooting steps below for the relevant social network.
Often issues arise locally, which means they can be resolved at home. We recommend trying to disconnect and reconnect to your internet, clear your
cache and
cookies and open your site in a different browser. You could also try resolving the issue with the
Wix Technical Assistant.
Troubleshooting connecting to Facebook
If you're experiencing issues trying to
connect your Facebook account to Wix, click and follow the solutions below.
Make sure you have a Facebook Business page
Make sure you have admin permissions for the Facebook page
Check you have given Wix the right Facebook sharing permissions
If none of the above solutions works, go to
Business Integrations under your main Facebook Account, remove Wix Apps and start the connection process from the beginning.
Troubleshooting connecting to Instagram
If you're experiencing issues trying to connect your Instagram account to Wix, click and follow the steps below.
Step 1 | Make sure you've switched your Instagram account to a Instagram Business account
. Step 2 | Check that your Facebook page is connected to your Instagram Business account
Step 3 | Make sure you're signed in to the correct Facebook account
