About the Wix Media Manager
The Media Manager contains all the media files on your site such as images, videos, audio, docs, and vector art. It also contains libraries of free Wix media, Unsplash and Shutterstock media.
Important:
Certain products such as Wix Photo Albums and Wix Music have their own mini Media Managers. These open when you upload a file directly to a photo album or a playlist. These are separate from the Wix Media Manager. This is why when you open these mini Media Managers, you may not see all your site files here, just the ones that are relevant to that product.
Wix Video has integrated with the Media Manager to make it easier for you to store and access your video files whenever you need.
To access the Media Manager:
- Click Media on the left side of your Editor.
- Click Show More.
on the left side of your Editor.
Tip:
You can also reach the Media Manager from your dashboard by typing Media Manager into the search bar.
About your video library in the dashboard
The video library is connected to Wix Video. It appears in the dashboard and is completely different to the Media Manager. The Media Manager stores all your media files, but the video library in your dashboard is where they are managed, for example, adding information about the video and setting up a Pricing plan.
Note:
You can also upload videos from here and locate the uploaded files in the Media Manager.
Go to your Video Library.
