Currently, after connecting your domain (e.g., www.mystunningwebsite.com) to your site, your free Wix URL (e.g., siteprefix.wixsite.com/siteaddress) still exists. Your free Wix URL redirects to your domain name so that anyone who tries to access your free Wix URL can still view your site. 
Notes:
  • Please allow 24 hours for the redirection to propagate.
  • Your free Wix URL can no longer be found by search engines or site visitors. They can only find your site publicly by using your domain name, unless they have saved your free Wix URL.
