The Pricing Plans transaction fee applies to all one-time and recurring charges for the plans you offer. The fee is tiered based on your site's plan and can be viewed in the upgrade page for Wix Editor and Studio Editor sites.
Note:
Free pricing plans have no transaction fee.

Transaction fee calculation

The transaction fee is automatically deducted from your earnings, not added to your customer's total. For example, if your plan is priced at $100, customers pay $100 at checkout. With a 2% transaction fee, you would receive $98.
Note:
Payment provider fees and/or any other applicable fees may also apply and are deducted separately.

The difference between a processing fee and a transaction fee

Processing fees are charged by your payment provider for handling the payment and are separate from the Pricing Plans transaction fee. The transaction fee is charged by Pricing Plans for using the platform. You can see both fees on the Payment page in your site’s dashboard. The Pricing Plans transaction fee is displayed as a "Service fee".
Payment providers who charge a processing fee:
  • Wix Payments: You’ll receive a monthly email detailing the processing fees.
  • Third-party providers: We recommend you contact your provider for the relevant details.

Refunding a pricing plan with a transaction fee

When you refund a customer, the transaction fee is returned to you. For partial refunds, the transaction fee is reduced proportionally. For example, a 50% refund also reduces the transaction fee by 50%.
