Multi-currency allows you to offer customers the convenience of viewing prices and paying in their local currency. This means that customers can check out in a currency that is different from your main site currency.
For example, your site’s main currency is US dollars. You’ve enabled Multi-currency to offer product prices in Euros as well. With this feature, a customer can complete their purchase and pay in Euros—not just view the prices in that currency.

Before you begin:
- Currently Multi-currency is only available for PayPal and Stripe users with Wix Stores.
- Supported currencies and payment methods depend on the provider:
- If a supported currency is selected via the currency converter, only payment methods that support that currency appear at checkout.
- If a customer selects a 'display-only' currency (a currency that can be viewed but not used for payment at checkout), the order defaults to your site’s main currency at checkout.
- Conversion fees and payout currency are determined by your payment provider. Check the terms of your PayPal and/or Stripe account for more details.
Enhance the customer experience
Offering multiple currencies significantly enhances the shopping experience for your customers. With the ability to pay in their local currency, customers enjoy more price transparency.

Increase international sales and conversions
Attract and cater to customers in different markets by displaying and accepting payments in their local currency. Prices are converted automatically using current market exchange rates from the XE Currency Converter and updated daily. Offering prices and checkout in local currencies reduces barriers and improves the likelihood of completed purchases.
At checkout, only payment methods supported by Multi-currency are shown. For example, if you have Klarna set up, it won’t appear for currencies other than your site's main currency. Only PayPal and Stripe will be available. While Wix does not collect additional currency conversion fees, conversion fees may be applied by the providers.
