(Internal) Finding Your Facebook Business Page

2 min
Important:
As of January 2020, it is no longer possible to connect Facebook business to Wix Restaurants' social bar.
When adding your restaurant menu to your Facebook business page in the Get Found tab, you are asked to search for your Facebook business page.

If you are unable to find your Facebook business page:

  • Make sure you are logged into Facebook while trying to connect your page.
  • Make sure that you are searching for a Facebook business page and not a personal profile page.
  • Make sure you are the owner or have admin permissions for that Facebook page. If you are not the owner, you can:
    • Contact the owner of the page and ask him to transfer ownership to you.
    • Contact the owner of the page and ask him to give you admin (editing) permissions.
    • Contact Facebook to claim ownership of the page.
Tip: If you are not sure who owns the Facebook business page, check the About tab of the page for the owner's contact information or send a message to the page through Facebook.
  • Make sure that your Facebook business page is set to display for all users. To test this:
    1. Log out of your Facebook account.
    2. Open a browser in incognito mode
    3. Enter the URL of your business page in the address line of your browser.
    4. Press Enter.
    5. If your page does not display in the browser, follow the instructions here.
Note: You can temporarily lift restrictions based on age or country and reapply these restrictions after connecting your Facebook business page.
To find your Facebook page, go to your Facebook business page and copy the URL. Enter the URL directly in the search box.

You could also create a new Facebook business page. To start, click here and select Local Business or Place.
