Your site URL prefix is part of your free site URL (siteURLprefix.wixsite.com/siteaddress). You can edit your site URL prefix at any time from your account settings.

To view or edit your site URL prefix:
- Sign in to your Wix account.
- Click your profile at the top right and select Account Settings.
- View your URL prefix under Site URL prefix.
- (Optional) Click the Site URL prefix field to edit your prefix.
Notes:
- Site URL prefixes can be between 6-20 characters and can only contain letters and numbers.
- Each site URL prefix must be unique. If the prefix was used in the past by any Wix user, it cannot be used again, even if the account associated with it has been deleted.
- Keep in mind that changing your prefix changes the structure of your free Wix URL (e.g. siteURLprefix.wixsite.com/siteaddress). If you've connected a domain to your site, there is no change to your URL.
- Your site URL prefix is also your Wix Customer Care profile name.
