About VAT in UAE

From October 18th, 2021, Wix.com started charging Value Added Tax (VAT) on our services to customers in the Unite Arab Emirates (UAE), in accordance with the Common VAT Agreement of the States of the Gulf Cooperation Council. You’ll see this tax added to your next renewal payment.
If you’re a VAT-registered business in UAE, add your VAT number to your Wix account to get a tax exemption on your next payment.
You can add your VAT number to your Wix account by updating your payment details. The exemption will apply from the next payment after that date.
To update your payment details:
- Go to your Premium Subscriptions page.
- Click the Show More icon
next to the relevant subscription. - Click Update Payment Method.
- Select the subscriptions you wish to update and click Next.
- Click Edit Details.
- Re-enter your card details and add your VAT Number to the VAT ID field.
- Click Update.
Important
Your payment method may be charged up to 30 days before your renewal date. This will help prevent billing issues from interrupting your Wix services. You may disable auto-renewal at any time through your account.
