Images found on the internet
When looking for images on the internet, keep in mind that some images might be protected by copyright. It is your responsibility to find out what limitations apply to the image before adding it to your site.
Purchasing the rights to use an image
There are many sites which sell stock images for you to use on your site, such as Shutterstock, iStock, Getty Images etc. When you purchase an image, in most cases, you will be allowed to use it on your site, but it is important to verify which license you have purchased and to check the restrictions that come with it. Wix has a partnership with Shutterstock, where you can purchase stock images via your site editor.
Unsplash images
Wix offers free images from Unsplash. You may use Unsplash images only in accordance with the Unsplash Terms of Use and Wix Terms of Use.
Free from Wix images
Wix offers a variety of free images which you are welcome to use. You may use these images on any of your Wix sites, or in your email campaigns. However, the license available with these images is for digital use within Wix only. Therefore, unless Wix explicitly states otherwise, these images may not be used in printed material or anywhere outside of Wix.
