List of Wix's Sub-Processors

Wix uses sub-processors to help deliver our services to you. These sub-processors only access the data they need to perform their specific functions.

This page lists the sub-processors that Wix works with to process personal data of your site visitors and users (referred to as “Users-of-Users”).

When you use Wix services, personal data of your Users-of-Users is first processed by Wix.com Ltd. (based in Israel). This data may then be transferred to other Wix entities worldwide for storage and service delivery.

All transfers between Wix entities are governed by our intra-company Data Processing Agreement, which includes appropriate safeguards to ensure compliance with data protection laws such as the GDPR.

Wix also partners with carefully selected third-party vendors to support our services. These sub-processors process personal data on behalf of Wix users, following their instructions as communicated through Wix.

Prior to onboarding third-party vendors, Wix conducts a comprehensive vetting process to assess their security postures and ensure they meet our security standards. This process involves collaboration between our legal, procurement, IT and security teams.

As part of our ongoing commitment and, in accordance with our data protection policy, we perform continuous security and privacy assessments of vendors that handle or process personal and sensitive data. This includes conducting Transfer Impact Assessments, as required by applicable regulations.

Before engaging any sub-processor, we conduct thorough due diligence, including security and legal reviews. Each vendor enters into a written agreement with Wix that requires compliance with applicable data protection laws. For cross-border data transfers, we use approved mechanisms along with additional protective measures, where required.

Wix offers AI-powered features within our platform. When you or your users choose to use these AI services, certain data may be processed by our AI service providers. The specific processing depends on how AI features are utilized within your Wix site.

We have entered into Data Processing Agreements with Standard Contractual Clauses with each AI service provider to ensure appropriate data protection safeguards.
