Language Menu

You can design your menu by clicking the Design icon   and selecting a state to start with: Regular, Hover or Clicked. You can change the fill color & opacity, border, corners, and shadow. 

Tip: Create a design that is distinct between the states to support accessibility. 

To change the order of languages in the language menu, click Manage Menu, then drag and drop to reorder the languages. 

You can add a language to your site by entering the Multilingual dashboard:

You can hide languages from your live site in the translation manager.

To delete a language from your menu you need to hide it or delete it from the Multilingual dashboard. It's recommended to hide the language, as deleting it will permanently erase all translations. 

Currently, it is not possible to change the language abbreviations in the language menu. The two-letter language abbreviations (e.g. EN for English) are based on the ISO 639-1 international standard. If this is something you'd like to see in the future, vote for this feature.

However, you can select your desired language display under Language options: 

Click the Layout icon  and choose between: Full name, Abbreviated or Flags only. 

A Language Menu for mobile is automatically created based on your desktop version's menu and is nested within your mobile menu. To see how it appears on mobile, you can use the mobile view in your editor. 

While you can adjust the text size and layout of your Language Menu on the mobile version, full customization is not yet available. If this is something you'd like to see in the future, vote for this feature.
