CMS Request: Filtering by a Particular Date Using Dataset Filters

Currently, in the CMS (Content Management System) you cannot filter by a particular date using the dataset filters. For example, to only include items with a date field that is today's date.
However, you can schedule items in a collection to be visible or hidden.
