Wix Editor: Keyboard Shortcuts in the Editor

Use keyboard shortcuts in the Editor to manage your elements, tools, and pages. There are shortcuts available for general Editor use, as well as editing text.

General Editor shortcuts
The below keyboard shortcuts are available in your Editor:

Delete Backspace | Delete an element |
Ctrl + ↓ | Move backward |

Ctrl + Shift + ↑ | Bring to front |
←, ↑, →, ↓ | Move single pixel (i.e. Nudge) |
Shift + ↑, ↓ | Move 10 pixels |
Ctrl + Z | Undo |
Ctrl + Y | Redo |
Ctrl + Shift + M | Select next element |
Ctrl + M | Select previous element |
Ctrl + click element | Direct element selection (select elements, skipping the section/strip/container they're attached to) |

Hold Shift while rotating element | Rotates element in 15° increments |
Hold Shift while dragging element | Keeps element aligned on the same x or y axis |
