Below are the file types and sizes that are supported in Wix Photo Albums.
Note:
Your album's loading time is affected by the number and size of photos that you add.

Images | JPG, GIF, PNG | 40MB | JPG is the recommended format for Photo Albums. However, PNG is recommended if your image requires transparency. |
Videos | AVI, MPEG, MPG, MPE, MP4, MKV, WebM, MOV, OGV, VOB, M4V, 3PG, DivX, XVID or embed from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Dailymotion or Twitch. | 1000MB | The recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080px |
Tip:
For optimum performance, we recommend having less than:
- 150 photos per upload
- 400 photos per album
- 4000 albums per site
