Connect Video Player

After clicking the Connect to CMS icon on your video player, set up the connections in the panel:

Note: If you choose a URL field type as the video source, the actual title of the embedded video may override the field you chose for your video title.

If the video source field is blank for an item, the player will display the default video uploaded to the single video player element. You can set a default video by uploading it directly to the player or setting default values in the dataset.

If your video source is a 'Video' field type, you can enable the video title display in the player’s layout settings. Select the player, click the Layout icon , then enable the Show video title toggle to display the connected title field.

In the dataset settings, you can edit permissions to control who can view or modify the collection content. Make sure to set the dataset mode to Read (view only) or Read & Write (view and edit) depending on your needs.

Link the Video description connects to drop-down to a field type such as Text, Number, Date and Time, Address, or Tags. This helps provide descriptive information to screen readers for better accessibility.
