Connecting CMS collection content to your site

Working with the Connect Video Player Panel

You can connect a Social Player element to a dataset to play a video from a URL in your collection.

If you are not yet in the Connect Video Player panel, select the Social Player element and click the Connect to Data iconto open it.

Select the dataset that you want to connect your Social Player element to.

Video URL connects to
Click the dropdown and do one of the following:

Connect to an existing collection field: Select the field in your collection whose URL points to the video you want to play in your Social Player element. You can only select a field of type URL.
Connect to a new collection field: Select Add a new collection field.
- You'll need to define the Field Name and Field Type.
