Working with the Connect Checkbox Panel

You can connect a Checkbox to a dataset to capture user input and store it in a collection or to display data from a collection.
When you add a checkbox to your page you are actually adding a Checkbox and a Text element that are grouped together to give you the complete checkbox functionality. The first time you click the Checkbox group, the entire group is selected. To select the Checkbox element alone, click it again, after you click on the group. You can then click the Data icon
to open the Connect Checkbox panel.

Select the dataset from the dropdown that you want to connect your checkbox to.

- Connect to an existing collection field: Select the Boolean field in your collection that you want to connect to your checkbox. A checkbox can either be checked or unchecked.
- Connect to a new collection field: Select Add a new collection field.
- You'll need to define the Field Name and Field Type.
Tip:
You need to add a submit button to your page to save user data to your collection.
