Expand your image in any direction, and let AI fill in realistic details to complete the picture. AI-generated details, such as ocean waves for a beach photo or natural scenery for an outdoor shot, ensure the expanded area looks natural and blends perfectly with the original image.
This tool is ideal for adjusting image proportions for marketing assets, social media posts, or any other designs requiring flexible image sizes.
Expanding your image
Simply select your desired size or ratio, and let AI seamlessly expand your image with natural, realistic details.
To expand your image:
- Go to your project in Wixel.
- Select the image.
- Click Edit Image at the top.
- Click Expand.
- Choose how to expand your image:
- Freeform: Drag the corners of your image freely to create a custom expansion.
- Ratio: Extend your image to a predefined ratio size (e.g., 1:1, 9:16, 3:4).
- Custom Size: Enter specific dimensions for the Width and Height fields to expand your image to a custom size.
- Click Apply.
Notes:
- Your image can be extended up to 2000px per side, but the generated image cannot be bigger than the maximum image size (3000px x 3000px).
- The minimum image size that can be extended is 64px x 64px.
- The image aspect ratio (i.e. the ratio of the image's width to its height) should be within 2.5:1 and 1:2.5 to be able to extend the image.
