Wix Studio FAQs: Using the Wix Editor

It’s not possible to update sites created in the Studio Editor to the classic Wix Editor. Similarly, classic Wix Editor sites cannot be updated to the Studio Editor.

Yes, after switching to Wix Studio, you can build sites using either the Studio Editor or the Wix Editor. Some features, like reusable apps and custom templates, are exclusive to the Studio Editor.

You can access both Wix Editor and Wix Studio sites from the Sites tab in your Wix Studio workspace and choose the editor that best fits your project's needs.

Not at all! In the Wix Studio workspace, you'll be the first to get the latest updates about new releases, beta features, events, and more—for both Wix Studio and the Wix Editor. Click the News Center icon  at the top right of your workspace to stay updated.

Your Wix Editor sites won't update to the Studio Editor. The transition affects only your workspace, so your sites will remain in their original editor and can be accessed through the Sites tab in your Wix Studio workspace.
