Wix Stores: Gift Card Transaction Unsuccessful

Due to technical difficulties, the gift card portion of this sale was not completed successfully. To receive the portion of the sale paid for with the gift card, we suggest you contact your customer and complete the sale manually.

To complete the transaction:

  1. Contact the customer, and explain the problem. Ask them for the gift card code so you can manually process the outstanding payment.
  2. Go to the Gifted dashboard:
    1. Click the Gift Card app in the Editor.
    2. Click Settings.
    3. Click Go to Gifted.
  3. Go to the Redeem Gift Card section on the bottom right.

  4. Enter the customer's unique gift card code.
  5. Click Redeem.

If you are unable to to manually redeem the gift card, you can cancel and refund the sale. Learn How
