Wix Retail POS: Troubleshooting Your Receipt Printer

If your receipt printer isn't working properly, review the table below to resolve the most common printer issues.
Issue
Solution
Printer light flashes slowly
When the light flashes slowly, it indicates one of the following problems:

* The print head is overheating / The printer voltage is abnormal.
* Paper cutter error
* The print head is lifted up
* The paper roll need to be replaced. 
Paper jam
To clear jammed paper: 
  1. Disconnect the printer from the tablet to turn it off. 
  2. Rotate the top cover counterclockwise to open it. 
  3. Open the paper compartment.
  4. Clear and reload the paper. 
  5. Close the paper compartment and turn the top cover clockwise.
  6. Connect the printer to the tablet to turn it back on. 
Paper cutter error
Open and close the printer's top cover to automatically reset the paper cutter. 

To reset the paper cutter:
  1. Disconnect the printer from the tablet to turn it off. 
  2. Rotate the top cover counterclockwise to open it. 
  3. Rotate the top cover clockwise to close it back up. 
  4. Reconnect the printer to the tablet to turn it back on. This automatically resets the cutter. 
  5. (If applicable) Clear the paper jam. 
Printer is out of paper
The printer uses paper of the following size:
Dimensions: 85 ft (L) x 2.25 in (W)
Roll Diameter: 1.91 in
