Wix Mobile Apps: Creating and Managing Announcements

Announcements are a great way to interact with your members and let them know about important updates. Create new announcements to deliver big news like product launches or upcoming events.
Duplicate existing announcements on the fly and make necessary edits to save time. You can also check your announcement statistics to see how people are responding to your campaigns.

Your site members see your announcements when they access your site using your preferred Member App.
Creating an announcement
Create announcements about upcoming events, sales or add a personal note to welcome and engage your community.
To create an announcement:
- Go to your site in the Wix Owner App.
- Tap Manage
at the bottom. - Tap Mobile Announcements under the Marketing.
- Tap Create New Announcement.
- Write your announcement title and body text.
- (Optional) Tap the Add icon
at the bottom left to include media in your announcement (image, video, GIF or a divider). - Tap Next.
- Enable the Send announcement as a push notification toggle to send notifications from your site to your members' mobile devices.
Note: Disabling the toggle creates the announcement on your site only and members don't receive any notifications.
8. Tap Publish.
Duplicating and editing an announcement
Save time creating new announcements by duplicating existing ones on-the-go. Make any necessary changes to them such as the title or contents of your message.
To duplicate and edit an announcement:
- Go to your site in the Wix Owner App.
- Tap Manage at the bottom.
- Tap Mobile Announcements under the Marketing.
- Tap the relevant announcement.
- Tap the More Actions icon
. - Tap Duplicate and edit.
- Make your desired changes.
- Tap Next.
- Enable the Send announcement as a push notification toggle to send notifications from your site to your members' mobile devices.
Note: Disabling the toggle creates the announcement on your site only and members don't receive any notifications. - Tap Publish.
Viewing announcement statistics
You can track the annoucement statistics such as the number of views and the specific members who have seen them.
Important:
This information is only visible to you and cannot be seen by site members.
To view stats:
- Go to your site in the Wix Owner App.
- Tap Manage at the bottom.
- Tap Mobile Announcements under the Marketing.
- Tap the relevant announcement to view the members who have seen your announcement.
Note:
If you duplicate an announcement, the members statistics are reset for the new announcement and start from scratch.
