Wix Online Programs: Creating a Certificate for Your Program

1. Click Templates.
2. Select the desired template.

1. Click Text.
2. Hover over the relevant text and click Customize.
3. Choose what you want to customize:
   • Show / hide the text: Click the Content tab and enable or disable the toggle.
   • Edit the text: Click the Content tab and write new text using the available options.
   • Style the text: Click the Design tab and format your text the way you want.

1. Click Decorations.
2. Choose the desired decoration.

Promote your brand by adding your own logo.

1. Click Logo.

2. Choose what to do next:

   • Replace the existing logo: Hover over the logo and click Replace. You can choose a new file from the Media Manager.

   • Edit the existing logo: Hover over the logo and click Edit. You can use the Wix Photo Studio to make adjustments. 

   • Create a logo: Use Wixel to create your own logo.

1. Click Signatures.
2. Click the Add icon    below the relevant signature.
3. (In the Media Manager) Select or upload your signature. 
4. Click Add to Page.

1. Click Underlines.
2. Choose how to customize the underlines:
   • Change the color: Click the color box and select the color you want.
   • Select a different style: Click any underline style to apply it.

1. Click Frames.
2. Choose the desired frame for your certificate.

1. Click Background.
2. Choose how to customize the background:
   • Change the color: Click the color box and select the color you want.
   • Opacity: Drag the slider to change the transparency of the certificate's color.
   • Add an image: Click the Add icon below Upload image, then (In the Media Manager) select or upload your image.

1. Go to Online Programs in your site's dashboard.
2. Click the relevant program. 
3. Click Manage next to Participants. 
4. Click the More Actions icon  next to the relevant participant.
5. Select Reissue certificate.

2. Click the relevant program.
3. Click the Engagement tab.
4. Click the More Actions icon next to Certificate.
5. Select Preview.

4. Choose what you want to do next:
   • Edit: Click the Edit icon  next to Certificate.
   • Disconnect: Click the More Actions icon next to Certificate and select Disconnect.

When a participant signs up using the default member signup form and does not enter their name, their contact profile is created using the prefix of their email address. This name then appears on their certificate and in your contacts.

Your program's existing participants can update their name directly from the members area on your live site.

To make sure participant names appear correctly, we recommend replacing the default sign up form with a custom form that requires users to enter both their first and last names when joining your site. This ensures that each contact profile is created with the correct name from the start.

Yes. Use the Issued Certificates report in Wix Analytics to see which participants earned a certificate across your programs.
