Wix Hotels by HotelRunner: Connecting Airbnb iCal to your site
2 min read
The Airbnb iCal integration helps you manage your calendar availability seamlessly. Follow these steps to set up and manage your Airbnb iCal integration with Wix Hotels by HotelRunner.
Important:
- iCal Integration: Airbnb iCal uses a one-way iCal integration. This means that while your calendar availability will sync from Wix Hotels by HotelRunner to Airbnb iCal, your rates and reservations will not. You will need to manually update any reservations received from Airbnb iCal in your Wix Hotels by HotelRunner calendar.
- Manage Rates and Restrictions: You must manage your rates and booking restrictions directly from the Airbnb iCal channel extranet.
- Calendar Sync: The iCal integration will only transmit your Wix Hotels by HotelRunner calendar to Airbnb iCal. No data will be received from Airbnb iCal.
Step 1 | Choose which rooms to send to VRBO
You can choose which of your rooms you want to display on Airbnb iCal from the Channel Manager section of the Wix Hotels by HotelRunner dashboard.
To choose which rooms to send from Wix Hotels by HotelRunner to Airbnb iCal:
- Go to the Channel Manager in your Wix Hotels by HotelRunner dashboard.
- Click Connect next to Airbnb iCal.
- Choose Send from the drop-down next to all relevant rooms you want to share with Airbnb iCal.
- Click Next.
- Click Copy next to all relevant rooms you want to send to Airbnb iCal.
Step 2 | Import your Wix Hotels by HotelRunner calendar to Airbnb iCal
Once you have marked all relevant rooms as "send" and copied their links, it's time to log in to the Airbnb iCal extranet to import the room types.
