Wix Headless is not currently available to all users.
Wix Headless lets you run your business on Wix while your customer-facing website or app is built with any tools you like. Wix can host and run your site, or you can manage it yourself.

How Wix Headless works
With a regular Wix site, the pages your visitors see and the business tools behind them come together as one package. Wix Headless splits those two apart:
You set up and manage the business side from the Wix dashboard. You can add products, services, events, or content - just like on any Wix site.
You, your developer, or your AI agent builds a custom site (i.e. the frontend), using your preferred platform, and connects it to your Wix business behind the scenes.
Key benefits
Build with anything, manage in one place: Use any framework, design tool, or AI builder for your site, and run the business side from the Wix dashboard you already know.
Enterprise-grade security: Wix's infrastructure comes with SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance built in.
Ready-made pages for complex flows: Use Wix-hosted pages for checkout, booking, and ticket purchasing, so you don't have to build these sensitive flows yourself.
Built for AI: Hand the Wix Headless skill to an AI agent (e.g. Claude Code or Cursor) and it can build, connect, and deploy your frontend from a prompt.
One backend, multiple frontends: A website, a mobile app, and other platforms can all share the same products, members, orders, and content.
What you can build
With the Wix Headless skill, your agent can build and deploy a complete, working site backed by Wix business solutions: a store, a booking system, a blog, and more. You can describe what you want in plain language. Here are some examples:
- "Build a storefront for handmade ceramics with a product catalog and checkout."
- "Build a booking site for a yoga studio with class schedules and online payments."
- "Build an events page that sells tickets."
- "Build a portfolio site for an architecture firm, with projects managed in a CMS."
- "Build a membership site for a fitness coach with gated, members-only content."
