Understanding the parts of the gallery
The gallery is made up of several key parts, each with its own design and customization options. Those parts are:
- Gallery: The outer frame holding the entire gallery.
- Item: Contains the item, text and counter
- Image: The gallery image.
- Title / Description: The title and description of your item.
- Counter: Shows the position / number of the item in the gallery.
Adding a gallery
Start by choosing from our sleek preset designs, expertly crafted for you. You can keep your gallery as is or dive in and personalize every detail so it reflects your vision.
To add a gallery:
- Go to your editor.
- Click + Add at the top left of the editor.
- Scroll through the categories and select Gallery.
- Drag a gallery onto your page.
Adding media to your gallery
Fill your gallery with media that tells your story, builds atmosphere and connects with your visitors.
To add media:
- Go to your editor.
- Click the gallery element on the page.
- Click Organize Media on the action bar.
- Click + Add Images.
- Select the media from your Media Manager or click + Upload Media to upload media from your computer.
- Click Update.
- Click Done.
Tip:
We recommend you upload the best possible quality images to your gallery to ensure the best results. Make sure to upload images of at least 2560 X 1440 pixels in resolution. We optimize them to the exact dimensions displayed on the screen, without any loss of quality. Learn more about image optimization.
Customizing your gallery
Bring your unique vision to life by customizing the various parts of your gallery. From switching presets to fine-tuning the design, display, and settings, you can shape how your images look and feel.
To customize your gallery:
- Go to your editor.
- Click the gallery on the page.
- Choose what you want to customize:

: Add a color background to complement the content of your element.
: Define the borders of your element so it stands out, choosing a color, width and style. Click the Edit all borders icon 
to design them all at once.
: Make the corners of your element more square or round by dragging the slider under Radius. Click the Edit individual corners icon 
: Apply inner and outer shadow to give the element an interesting 3D effect, setting the position, blurriness, color and more.
: Add breathing room to your content by adding padding around the element (or the selected area).
: Customize aspects of your gallery such as the image aspect ratio, crop or fit your items within the gallery, and choose how many items to display in a row.Choose what happens when an item is clicked
