Wix Groups: Sharing a Group Page or Post to Social Networks

Both you and your group members can share your group's page and specific posts right from the discussion board to social networks.
This is a great way for your group to gain exposure and expand the conversation among your group members.
Step 1 | Enable the "Share" button in the Editor
Before sharing the group's page or a specific post to social media, you need to enable the "Share" button in the Group app settings.
To enable the "Share" button:
- Click Pages on the left side of the Editor.
- Click Groups Pages.
- Click the Group Page in the Editor.
- Click Settings.
- Click the Display tab.
- Click Discussions.
- Select the Share button checkbox to enable the option to share the URL of a specific post or share the group page.
Step 2 | Share your group's pages and posts
Once you have the "Share" button enabled, both you and the members of your group can share the group's page or specific posts within the group using various social networks.
To share a group page or group post:
- Go to the relevant group on your live site.
- Choose if you want to share a group page or post:
- Share the group page:
- Click the Show More icon next to the name of the group page.
- Click Share.
- Choose how you want to share the group's page:
- : Share the group's page to your Facebook News Feed or your Story.
- : Share the group's page to your Twitter page.
- : Share the group's page to your LinkedIn profile.
- : Copy and paste the link into a new message using the application of your choice.
- Share a post:
- Click the Show More icon next to the relevant post.
- Choose how you want to share the post:
- : Share the post to your Facebook News Feed or your Story.
- : Share the post to your Twitter page.
- : Share the group to your LinkedIn profile.
- : Copy and paste the link into a new message using the application of your choice.
- Share the group page:
