Wix Bookings: Sending a Broadcast Message in the Wix Owner App

Send a single chat message, email or SMS to everyone booked for your service at once. This is called a "broadcast message", and when you broadcast to your clients, they receive each message individually and not as a group message.

Broadcasting to multiple clients at once means that you can keep them in the know about appointment booking, class sign-up, or course updates on a variety of messaging channels.
You must have already invited clients to your booking in order to send a broadcast.
You must have a Business Phone Number to send an SMS message.

To send a broadcast message in the Wix Owner app:

  1. Open the Wix Owner app. 
  2. Tap the Manage icon .
  3. Tap Bookings.
  4. Tap the relevant booking.
  5. Tap Broadcast.
  6. Select the checkboxes next to the contacts you want to send an SMS broadcast to.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Tap the channel drop-down and select how you want to send your broadcast:
    • Chat: Send a live chat broadcast to clients. They receive this message in their inbox in the member app.
    • Email: Send a broadcast email to the clients whose email addresses are saved in your contact list.
    • SMS: Broadcast via SMS to clients if they have provided their contact numbers.
      Note: Make sure you've purchased a business phone number.
  9. Compose the message that will be sent to your selected contacts. You can attach elements to your message.
  10. Tap Send
