Wix Blog offers the tools you need to manage your posts effectively. Whether you want to temporarily hide a post, or remove it completely, you have the option to:
- Unpublish a blog post: temporarily removing it from your live blog while keeping it saved.
- Delete a blog post: to move it to the trash, where you can restore it later if needed.
- Permanently delete a blog post: to fully delete it from your account without recovery options.
Unpublishing a blog post
Unpublishing a blog post removes it from your site while keeping the content saved for future updates. For example, you can unpublish an announcement or update an old article without losing your work until it’s ready to go live again.

- Go to Blog in your site's dashboard.
- Click the More actions icon
next to the relevant post. - Click Revert to draft.
- Click Revert to Draft to confirm.
Deleting a blog post
Send a blog post to the trash to temporarily remove it from your site. Posts in the trash can be restored at any time, so you don’t lose your content if you change your mind.

next to the relevant post. - Click Move to trash.
- Click Move to Trash to confirm.
Permanently deleting a blog post
Permanently deleting a blog post removes it entirely from your site and trash, with no way to recover it. Only choose this option if you’re certain you won’t need the post again.
