Wix Blocks: Naming Your App and Widget

Naming your app and widgets makes it easier for you to find them when you are importing them to your site. It also helps you to work with the individual widgets in the Wix Editor or Editor X.

Name your app

  1. Click App in the top toolbar.
  2. Click App details.
  1.  Type a name for your App in the Package Name field in the Save Package panel.
Changing the name after your first build
Note that your app's import name can't be changed after the first build.

Name your widget

  1. Click the More Actions  icon next to the default widget name, Widget1.
  2. Click Rename and give your widget a meaningful name.
