Understanding Your Uptime & Security Dashboard

Learn about your site status in your Uptime & Security dashboard. This tool allows you to monitor your site's global availability and view results on a world map. It also provides insights into how hosting and security measures protect your site from downtime.
You can access Uptime & Security from Site & Mobile App in your site's dashboard.

Track your site status

Your site status bar shows your site's uptime over the last 90 days. You can explore dates within the bar to find out if any issues were experienced. If you click a day with a recorded issue, a Wix Services Status Page opens to provide more details.

Check your site's global availability

You can run an availability test every 24 hours, to find out if your site is available globally. Your results display in a world map, with a status message. Click the dots in the world map to learn where your site is live.

View your site's hosting infrastructure

Wix hosting infrastructure uses cloud service providers to improve your site's loading speed. Wix has 4 data centers, which connect to AWS and Google Cloud. If there is an outage at 1 data center, the remaining data centers rush to pick up Wix’s traffic.

Find out your site loading time during peak traffic

The traffic load simulator shows your site's average daily visitors, and loading time during busy traffic periods. The loading time is based on the performance of other Wix sites during actual traffic peaks. To learn more, visit your Site Speed dashboard
