Upcoming Changes to Wix Premium Plans

We’re continuing in our efforts to expand and improve Wix’s platform to meet the evolving needs of our users. As part of these efforts, we will be moving users from legacy Wix Premium plans to our newly updated Premium offering, where plans are more clearly defined to best serve our range of users. 

Under this update, the features in the current plan will still be available, along with all the new capabilities included with our new plan options. Additionally, you'll retain the highest feature quotas between the two plans. That means that if your old plan has a higher quota for a particular feature than the new one, you'll keep that higher quota when you make the move.

This change applies to legacy Premium plans moving to up-to-date Premium plans. Current Wix Studio plans are unaffected. This change will come into effect for Partners and Studio users with legacy Premium plans starting in March 2024.

For Partners and Studio users, this migration will begin with plans renewing from March 3, 2024 and on. You’ll be notified by email 30 days before the changes go into effect with all the relevant info for each subscription, including the new plan name, renewal date and resulting price changes.

The Light plan is an ideal solution for establishing an online presence.

This plan provides fundamental features such as complimentary hosting and 24/7 customer support. Site owners can add 1 collaborator (teammates under the same Team Management account count as 1 collaborator) and have access to marketing tools like automations and lead capture forms.

The Core plan is a great option for small businesses that need to accept payments, take bookings and sell online.

With this plan you’ll get access to eCommerce solutions designed to maximize conversions. Sell on social channels and marketplaces, accept pre-orders and customer deposits, sell branded digital gift cards and activate abandoned cart recovery automations. Sites on this plan can also add a POS integration to sell in-person or online.

Sites with this plan can also benefit from connecting to a suite of marketing tools, including Wix Chat, and add up to 5 site collaborators.

The Business plan is suitable for medium and large businesses requiring a wider range of capabilities.

Sites with this plan can connect advanced shipping Service Provider Interfaces (SPIs) for custom rates and custom shipping providers, sell in up to 5 additional currencies, sync up to 250 dropshipping products with Modalyst, sell branded physical gift cards with Wix POS and get automated sales tax for up to 100 transactions.

What's more, sites with this plan get up to 100GB of storage, up to 10 hours of video content and can invite up to 10 site collaborators.

The Business Elite plan is ideal for high-traffic businesses who need custom functionality and want access to the platform’s most advanced features.

With this plan we’re introducing Advanced Infrastructure Capabilities, a set of new products and enhanced capabilities tailored for complex data-heavy and backend-heavy sites. With more computing power and more data resources you can build unique sites that match your client’s specific needs and provide an elevated customer experience.

For eCommerce, you’ll have advanced capabilities that allow you to design an exceptional storefront and customize the back end for the ideal selling experience. You can extend checkout functionality, sync any size catalog, and add APIs for custom solutions for everything from ERPs to fulfillment services.
